Out of many things I have been making at home, ranging from savory to sweet stuff, finally, Jean and Herve handed me an ice cream machine last Sunday. You could not believe how excited I was when I received it because I have been dying to make ice cream for the longest time. So now, look at the result! A deliciously creamy and decadent Milk, Honey and Cinnamon ice cream!
The Ingredients
300 ml milk
150 ml single cream
1/2 teaspoon (leveled) ground cinnamon
140 ml runny honey
Place the milk, cream and cinnamon into a saucepan over low heat so the flavors can marry. Stir in the honey and increase the temperature until just steaming but not boiling. Remove saucepan from heat and leave it to cool. Transfer into a bowl and leave it to chill in the refridgerator until ready to use in the ice cream machine.
When the mixture is nice and chilled and ready to use, pour the mixture into the ice cream machine and follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
I hope you’ll enjoy making this ice cream and indulging in it once it is ready!
